I was walking in the soft silky sand.
Huge waves were crashing in the distance.
People were laughing, surfing and talking.
But I was alone. All alone.
I walked towards the water,
Looking in the distance.
It was big, so big,
That my problems seemed small.
When the cool water gently touched my toes,
I forgot everything,
My anxieties, my tears,
My hurt and my fears.
But as the water left me,
It all came back.
And I was alone. All alone.
Huge waves were crashing in the distance.
People were laughing, surfing and talking.
But I was alone. All alone.
I walked towards the water,
Looking in the distance.
It was big, so big,
That my problems seemed small.
When the cool water gently touched my toes,
I forgot everything,
My anxieties, my tears,
My hurt and my fears.
But as the water left me,
It all came back.
And I was alone. All alone.
